Lawsuit Filed by Medical Student For Denial of Accommodations on USMLE

Law Office of Charles Weiner filed suit against National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) for denying a medical student with disabilities accommodations on the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE). The student furnished documentation detailing a lengthy history of impairment and accommodations through out school and in spite of this, the NBME denied the student’s request for accommodations. The suit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas alleges that the NBME violated the Americans with Disabilities Act and discriminated against the student.
