Charles Weiner is an attorney in solo practice in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 1988.
The practice focuses on the representation of parents and their children who have special needs in education and school discipline throughout Pennsylvania. He also represents individuals with disabilities nationwide in obtaining accommodations in high stakes testing (e.g. SAT, LSAT, GRE, MCAT, GMAT, USMLE etc.). Charles has filed federal litigation against school districts and testing agencies such the Law School Admission Council, to secure the rights of people with disabilities.
Prior to starting the Law Office of Charles Weiner, he was an associate at one of Philadelphia’s largest law firms where he litigated complex multi-district commercial and insurance disputes. He later served as counsel in the law departments of a large insurance/financial services company and a large banking institution. There he was responsible for litigation and litigation management, compliance, account holder relations, marketing and employment matters.
Charles is a member of the Exceptional Children’s Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is a Course Planner at the Annual Exceptional Children’s conference. He has also spoken on special education topics before various professional, advocacy and support groups. Charles serves on the Diversity Committee in the New Hope Solebury School District. He is a graduate of the Partners in Policy Making program (C2P2) of the Institute on Disabilities, Temple University. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and serves as the Chairperson of the ADL’s Education Committee. Charles is active in several community organizations such as Newtown’s No Place For Hate Committee, CHADD and Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates.
