We are a law firm that is dedicated to representing individuals with disabilities in education. Our practice is focused on providing legal representation and special education advocacy to families and their children in special education and education law issues. We have specific experience representing students with disabilities in matters involving special education, the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 for the Rehabilitation Act, Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE), bullying, cyber bullying, harassment, discrimination and school discipline.
We successfully pursue test accommodations on behalf of individuals with disabilities on standardized exams such as LSAT, MCAT, SAT, ACT, GMAT, USMLE, COMLEX, MBE (Bar Exam), MPRE and CFA.
We handle law suits on behalf of individuals with disabilities who were discriminated against or denied access in employment, restaurants, hotels, business establishments, higher education, government facilities and services due to practices, policies and barriers that violate the ADA.
We handle matters involving housing discrimination on the basis of disability. Disability discrimination in housing takes many forms such as being denied the use of a service or therapy animal by landlord, condominium or homeowners’ association.
We represent individuals whose civil rights have been denied in matters such as false arrests, malicious prosecution, police brutality, police misconduct, excessive force, political firings or retaliation and prison suicides.
We represent children who suffered serious injuries due to accidents and negligence. As a firm dedicated to protecting children’s rights, we aggressively represent children who are victims of sexual abuse and other traumatic injuries.
